Presenting seven (7) Modern Pyramids bulletins published in 1941 by National Carbon Company which is/was a unit of Union Carbide. The bulletins range from four to eight pages and features updates on the company's brushes and commutation. No. 1  (June, 1941 reprint from July, 1937)  - Commutation Factor No. 2  (June, 1941 reprint from September, 1937) - Reprint of "The Measurement of the Frictional Characteristics of Brushes" by Dr. S.W. Glass (National Carbon) from the July, 1937 issue of Iron and Steel Engineer No. 4  (March, 1938)  The Theory of Commutation No. 5  (November, 1938)  An Analysis of Brush Operation No. 6  (April, 1939)  Preparation and Care of Commutator Surface No. 9 (March, 1941)  Cleaning Forestall Service Interruptions No. 10 (July, 1941)  "Feather-Edge" or "Side" MICA - A Frequent Source of  Trouble These bulletins were originally owned by an employee of the Tennessee Valley Authority.
