WESTWARD Universal Quick Charger Model 5YH17 This charger has been modified to accept short tower batteries.  Picture 3 shows a battery with a short tower at 1 3/8".  This length will not reach the electrical contacts in most battery chargers  I have raised the electrical contacts  in the charger well (picture 2), to allow a secure and reliable connection (picture 4). You can charge 12V, 14.4V, 15.6V or 18V batteries.  It can still charge a battery with a longer tower height, such as a Ryobi ONE+ with a tower height of 1 3/4" (picture 5). This will not accept batteries with 2 cells in the tower (picture 6). Batteries not included.
