The Momentive RTV118 is a one-part, also called one-component, translucent RTV silicone sealant with a self-leveling consistency for indoor and outdoor applications, such as electrical insulation, thin section potting, and self-leveling protective coatings up to 1/4" wide. The self-leveling consistency requires no tooling for application in small cracks and hard-to-reach places. This sealant meets United States Military Specification MIL-A-46106, NSF International Standard 51, United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) 23; is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR 177.2600 compliant; is United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) compliant; and has UL recognized components.
