This auction is for a Moore # 1 Jig Grinder that's wired for 220 volts 3 phase and requires 100 lbs. air pressure at 11 CFMs according to the owners manual (that the guys in our shop nicknamed "Cupcake"). It was well cared for as can be seen in the photos. We purchased it from another EBAY seller because ours was broken, and Moore wanted $6000.00 + to fix it!! (Note: In some of the photos you can see ours in the background, it's NOT for sale with this auction). The previous seller also had two. The other was a # 2 that had a larger table. He sold this one because the other had automatic controls! "Cupcake" has a 45K spindle speed and comes with the owners manual, plus; a dust collector that measures 23" wide x 30" high x 12" deep, not counting the crank handle on one side (that we never did figure out, but believe it has something to do with emptying the unit), see last three photos. We needed a more gutsy machine, so we finally had ours fixed (for a lot less than $6000.00)! "Cupcake" makes a loud noise (resembling a hiss) when it runs and the previous owner thought it may have had an air leak, so he had new seals put in the head 5 years ago by a firm out of Detroit called Borel (may not be spelled right)! They assured him that a Moore # 1 runs that way, and he ran it. So did we for a while. Any questions? Please ask! We only offer local pickup. Please contact us to arrange for your pickup. (We're located in North Central Ohio). (And if EBAY's software will allow you to) you may bring your check with you when you pick up your grinder. Otherwise Paypal works for us! However, we also have a towmotor (fork-lift truck) that CAN put it onto your truck! (I don't know how heavy it is (my brother estimates 2600 lbs. counting the dust collector with it), but we managed to bring both "cupcake" and the dust collector home with a Ford F150 capable of a 2600 pound load, and didn't hit the bottom pads on the Ford)! You will need plenty of strong straps to tie it down with, as it IS a bit top heavy (unless of course you desire to hire a rigger). Measurements for shipment are (approx.) 38 in. (or 3.2 ft.) wide x 84 in. (or 7 ft.) high x 54 in. (or 4.5 ft.) deep (counting a 6 in. air pipe sticking out the back). Once loaded it becomes the buyer's (namely your) responsibility!!
