For sale is a Morgan Line-O-Scribe M1422 proofing press. The press is in great condition, I've used it for a few years with my own personal work and with my students. Everything works as intended, the grippers, roller, pressure adjustment, etc. Currently the roller guard is removed (I find it easier to set pressure when I can see contact with the roller) but I can install the roller guard if you would like (I have all the screws). The press has a 14" x 22" printing area, and can accept a sheet of paper 14" wide, the footprint is around 16" x 38" (and around 7" high). Included with the press is an extra layout sheet with acetate cover, a press cover (that's pretty old and flaky but is a nice item that goes with the press), and a certificate+letter from the original operator (see scans in the last two pictures).  The press is for pickup only in Elkins, WV - Thanks for looking!
Condition Used :
An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections.
Seller Notes “Great condition, I've used this press for years for my own person work an with my students. Roller is in good condition, no marks or blemishes. I have the guard off but can install it if you would like. Grippers function well, and the pressure adjustment also works very well. Some very slight rust on the bottom roller, and some dust/cat hair may be on the surface of the bearings.”
