This Platinum Series Tilting Head mortise comes with a tilting head and tilting table and is able to make compound angled mortises. It has a 1.5 HP TFEC motor and a rack and pinion plunge mechanism that moves the hollow chisel. It has cast iron trunions for the table tilt and the head tilt has positive stops at 90 degrees to easily return to a baseline setup. Dovetail ways on 3 axes provide the precision needed for any type of joinery project. Rack and pinion movements for each of the tilt movements make it easy to adjust to the perfect angle. Dual hold down clamps hold the material down on the table while a cam-action clamp holds stock against the fence. Comes with a 5/8” hollow chisel
