Magnification is changed by turning the turret ·Working distance 95mm ·Heavy-duty rack & pinion focusing block with slip clutch and tension adjustment” The stereomicroscope on sale here has dual matched widefield W10X stereo eyepieces, an opaque stage plate, black on one side white on the other that has some imperfections, including a “nipple” in the center of the white side. It has illumination capabilities for both incident and transmitted light, although incident illumination is not present (incident lamp 110v/20w). Last picture shown, and taken through the microscope, was lite with detached incident illumination, detached illumination is not included in this listing.The stage plate can be removed to reveal a frosted blue filter, see photographs, that can be used for transmitted illumination. The stereomicroscope provides 1X and 2X objective magnifications. It weighs about 7 pounds 14 ounces. It is approximately 13 inches tall in working position, as shown. This is a Greenough-style microscope named after its American inventor Horatio Saltonstall Greenough. The last photograph was taken through this microscope.
