This Generator has several tags as attached by our navy prior to this part being declared as surplus - it was from the spare parts for the HMCS Gatineau a Restigouche-class destroyer - decommissioned in 1996 - dismantled in 2010. The tags indicate that this item had it's bearings changed, the windings checked and the unit tested before being put back in to stock on June 17, 1991. The unit has an overall length of approximately 6 inches (not including the shaft) and a weight of 5 lb. 2 oz.
