Motorola Maxar 800 MHz Data Radio Model Number: D2903AG Product Information: According to a FCC ID query, this is a 800 MHz radio with a maximum output of 12 watts. A few online sources have indicated this was probably used as a single channel data radio. Perhaps it was used in conjunction with a vintage mobile computer or data terminal?? It was also noted online that the unit is crystal controlled... This was not confirmed by us. Product Condition: Aside from the information we obtained from the sticker on the side of the unit, nothing else is known. This is a used piece of equipment. It will show signs of previous usage. Scratches, scrapes, scuffs, etc. We're unable to test this unit due to lack of appropriate power cable. As such, it's being listed FOR PARTS. Additional Thoughts / Info: Since the unit has no knobs, buttons, screens, etc, it would make an excellent OEM looking project enclosure. The chassis appears to be from the Maxar family, so a bracket for the maxar (not included) would probably work. This would be ideal to house a repeater controller board, or perhaps a remote receiver?
