It comes in its original (new package). The terminal has never been used. There is a battery included in the box but I can't assure how long that battery will last because no testing has being done. Usually if the lithium battery is shelved for sometime, it will either dead or last you for half of when it's new. So don't discount the fact that you (may) have to buy a new battery.
