You are bidding on a complete MSA 5000 gas level monitoring / controlling system. All parts and wiring are included with this 19" rack mount system to fully install and run out of the box. It has 12 independent inputs for an entire range of gasses, there are several output relays for each channel to be able to react to different user trip points to control exhaust vents, sound alarms, adjust mixtures, close or open valves, notify personnel, etc. The unit is simple to program and extremely versatile and robust. DETAILS Principles of Operation : Control modules accept frequency inputs or current inputs. Approvals & Standards : UL, FM, NEMA 4X Applications : Chemical Hazardous Materials Oil and Gas Paper & Pulp Water/Wastewater Hazards : Combustible Atmosphere Gas Detection Oxygen Deficiency Toxic Atmosphere IDLH Toxic Atmosphere Non-IDLH The pictures show everything powered up and running, however the actual gas detection sensors pictured (white cylindrical sensors) are old and not recommended for use, they are simply included to show that the unit is functional. The handheld calibration tool is completely functional, it reads exactly what the main system front panel reads, but has a bad potentiometer knob on the front of the unit which can be repaired with a new potentiometer and a soldering iron. The auction includes the main control rack which is really two identical complete systems side by side, 2 din rail mounted output relay modules, 2 din rail mounted input module banks, 2 din rail mounted output alarm buzzers, 1 calibration meter with dummy sensor jumper plug, 3 remote sensor transducer boards, 4 old gas detection sensors, 1 19" long wiring ground strip, several din rail wire terminals.
