Multi window Geiger low range probe originally made as a replacement probe for a military AN-PDR/63 radiation detector. Modified for use with any 900 Volt Geiger counter by removing the high voltage circuit board and replacing it with a  newly made voltage divider circuit board, the addition of a BNC connector,  and replacement of the  Mylar end window which won't pass Alpha with a finger guard to allow Alpha detection.  The probe was new in military supply packaging and not previously used when opened and modified with all new parts. Voltage range of operation is about 680-1,000 volts and regulated at 700 volts to match the Geiger tube requirement. ( SMART PROBE TECHNOLOGY) Suggested Voltage 900 Volts can be interchanged with other probes set for other than 900 Volts like scintillation probes without adjusting the voltage setting. At Voltages above 1,000 the regulator will start to load the counters supply voltage which won't hurt anything but the probe may stop working properly if the load becomes more than the counter can supply due to the current available but the Geiger tube will never receive anything greater than 700 Volts. Large Geiger tube with a diameter of 1" and active length of 4.25" it is a larger tube than the ones used in Ludlum and Eberline side window probes and it has an average natural background of 60 C.P.M. plus a 1" thin mica end window. The tube is a variation of the LND QPL qualified 5970 and has the same specification except for Beta which is far greater. The probe can easily be operated with one hand the rotating Beta shield moves smoothly but has a bit of resistance so it stays where you place it and the end window can be opened with your thumb. A super probe for sorting Alpha, Beta, Gamma and X-Ray has a long body that makes it way easier to hold and your hand is well back from the window area. Overall length including fitting 10", main  body diameter excluding end window latch 1.385" Photo 10 is just to show the probe working with a standard test source Cs 137 in this case with side window closed it sees only the high Gamma energy and is way beyond the 500 C.P.M shown. Photo 11 shows the sensitivity of the end window using a Tritium light containing a minute amount of Tritium gas in a sealed glass tube covered with a thick plastic key chain housing it is seeing the week Bremsstrahlung X-rays in the 5-10 K.E.V. area the reading is about 15 C.P.M. above background. Photos 7-8 show the high quality construction with the internal lead shielding visible even on the back side of the rotating shield. I had the last 3 on hold and they are now available there are no more to come the last one will stay in my collection. THE EBERLINE COUNTER IS ONLY FOR DEMONSTRATION IT IS NOT INCLUDED.
