Used Multifix size B lathe tool post.  This is an older unit made in Europe (likely Swiss or German made) which sat around in someone's shop here in the US unused for at least the last 30 years.  In great shape overall.  I've taken it apart and cleaned it.  The riveted ID plate is long gone.  It's marked "310" on the bottom in two places.  The central cylinder has a hand-engraved number inside the top (possibly a serial #) as shown in one of the photos.  The last two photos show that the guide bosses are held in place by solid pins.  All the modern 40-position toolposts seem to have roll pins in these places.  The ID of the central cylinder is 32mm.  The overall height is about 75mm.  The oil fitting properly oils the main hinge bolt (i.e., the oil channels are not clogged).  There is mild damage/grinding on the tip of one of the upright shafts (see 3rd from last photo).  I bought this needing a size E tool post but was mistaken about what size this one was.  It's too big for my needs.
