I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE for non viable eggs, air cell slippage, cracked eggs, broken eggs, and eggs lost by the postal system.  You ARE TAKING A RISK having eggs sent to you in the mail. I send as many extras as I can  plus the eggs purchased just in case of breakage and rough handling in transit. These photos show how I ship the eggs and by purchasing from me you agree that my packaging is adequate.  NO SHIPPING TO OTHER COUNTRIES- It’s illegal. CONTINENTAL US ONLY It is solely the buyers responsibility to know their states import laws and requirements. If the shipment is seized because they aren’t allowed in your state we are in no way responsible.  DO NOT BUY if you live in a climate where these eggs can freeze in transit from NM or if left at your door. My birds have been producing fertile eggs for the past several days/months (my eggs in incubator or under hens). It's safe to say all or almost all are fertile, hence the extra egg. Shells are thick and they can not be checked until 5-7 days after being in the incubator. We hatch the eggs from the same hens all season long as well.  Eggs are NOT cleaned as that takes away from the outer protection. Dirt and other nest properties are gently brushed off as best as can be without removing the bloom. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE if you have never incubated shipped eggs PLEASE read up on the how to’s PRIOR to bidding. They ARE NOT like unshipped eggs and need extra care in the incubation process. PLEASE let eggs sit after you receive them before putting them in the incubator with the air cells upward. Make sure you have an incubator READY for your eggs at the correct temp and humidity. Our hens hatch rate has been 90-100% and the shipped hatch rate has been as high as 80% but everyone's results will be different. Please don't bid if you aren't familiar with incubating shipped eggs and are aware of the risk that NONE may hatch due to a wide variety of factors. It’s also possible that all may hatch.  AGAIN PLEASE KNOW YOU ARE TAKING A RISK RECEIVING EGGS THROUGH THE MAIL SYSTEM. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE AND THIS AUCTION IS AS IS. IF YOU WANT A POST OFFICE PICKUP you have to request please leave a buyers note on your order.  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING YOUR POST OFFICE. In the event that my girls stop laying and your order has not been filled, you will be fully refunded immediately. I can not guess when this will happen so I will process orders asap. ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING. FIRST PAID FIRST SERVED once the eggs are gone they are gone until next season I WILL NOT BE EXTORTED WITH THE THREAT OF A BAD REVIEW. I AM FAIR AND HONEST. MY JOB AS A SELLER IS TO GET THE EGGS TO YOU IN GOOD CONDITION. DO NOT CONTACT ME WITH COMPLAINTS ABOUT BAD HATCH RATE, LOW FERTILITY OR VIABILITY. MY ONLY GUARANTEE TO YOU IS THAT YOU WILL GET THE NUMBER OF EGGS YOU ORDER INTACT. When you buy eggs from a person the only way to know if they are indeed fertilized or not is to break them open upon arrival EVEN AFTER ONE DAY OF INCUBATION. Most aren’t going to do this because obviously you bought them to incubate. Once an egg has been incubated (hen or incubator) more than a day you can no longer break that egg open to check fertility and the longer incubated the more likely the disk will be degraded/obliterated by the incubation process Shipping / transporting eggs can destroy a fertilized egg’s ability to start or if they start they can be damaged enough that they quit and die. A shipped eggs failure to start or progress to a duckling if they do start. Failure for a transported egg to start can not be determined the breeder’s or the flock’s fault, because there’s no way to quantify traveling damage. Shipped eggs are vibrated beyond belief, tossed, rolled, dropped 4-6’ into a hamper, had other boxes land on top, and were exposed to heat and cold. All of that can kill or damage the eggs internally. Hatch rate is not the same as fertility/viability. Hatch rate is the % of eggs that started to develop that hatch. This rate can be affected by shipping damage too but hatch rate can be determined by your incubator in many cases. If you want guaranteed babies buy ducklings. If you want to hatch eggs with best odds of success, get eggs locally and handle as if they were nitroglycerin in transport. This is taken directly from one of my listings: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE for non viable eggs, air cell slippage, cracked eggs, broken eggs, and eggs lost by the postal system. You ARE TAKING A RISK having eggs sent to you in the mail. Our hens hatch rate has been 90-100%. By purchasing eggs that will be sent to you, you are aware of the risk that none may hatch due to a wide variety of factors. I made no claims that you would have any embryo development at all. My listing specifically states that you may not.   About Muscovy Ducks The Muscovy Duck is the one domestic duck that is not derived from the Mallard. They are not really ducks at all - but are large perching waterfowl. They are a great addition to the farm or homestead as they control insects and also eat grass.  Our favorite part is that they are almost mute! They love to eat flies, which make them a welcome addition to cow or calf pens. They are very calm and quiet birds. The girls often share nests and hatching duties.  The meat from Muscovy Ducks is 98% fat free - making it a very healthy addition to a meal. Many folk say that the breast meat is similar to a good Sirloin Steak. Being so low in fat, Muscovy Duck meat is not greasy like other duck meat.   Hatching Muscovy Duck Eggs Muscovy ducks eggs take 33-35 days to hatch depending on the conditions of the incubator. Eggs should be set with the large end up.  If a tray type incubator is used, then they should be placed in a horizontal position. If the eggs are turned manually, they should be turned at least 3 times a day, and the number of turns must be an odd number. This prevents them from being in the same position each night.    Incubator Settings Still-air. Set the temperature to 102 degrees F and aim for 60-65% relative humidity. Fill the water trays when the eggs are set and refill every 3-4 days. Forced-air. Set the temperature to 99.5 degrees F and a 65% relative humidity. On day 30 transfer the eggs to where they will be hatched and stop turning the eggs. In the hatcher, set the temperature to 98.5 degrees F and a relative humidity of 66%
