Product Description Brand new in original packaging. Retails for $130 at Fisher Scientific, 2 units/pack. For a full detailed description, please refer to manufacturer's website and refer to part number 3114-0030.  Teflon FEP Tefzel ETFE Screw Closure Autoclavable Biohazard Leakproof Manufactured from Teflon materials and Tefzel, not polypropylene or polycarbonate resins. For the most challenging applications, the strongest, most versatile material offered by Nalgene. Ideal for high-speed centrifugation of aggressive chemicals. Excellent for chloroform and phenol extractions. Resists any acid, base or solvent. Autoclavable tubes withstand temperatures from -100C to 150C. For use in refrigerated and non-refrigerated centrifuges up to 50,000 x g using NALGENE sealing cap assemblies. Before autoclaving, just set closure on top of the tube without engaging the threads. NOTE: For proper performance must be filled to 100% of the total capacity.  Teflon and Tefzel are registered trademarks of DuPont. IMPORTANT! NALGENE Oak Ridge centrifuge tubes are supplied with a liner-less, non-contaminating screw closure. Those items described as leakproof will not leak during ordinary use. To assure leakproof services, especially at speeds greater than 10,000 x g or when spinning hazardous materials, NALGENE sealing cap assemblies are recommended.
