Tested for power and responded to all button presses as expected. We were unable to further test since the microscope was not included. Excellent overall condition, the exhaust fan was failing and was replaced. There is a small chip on the plastic housing and the "9" key is missing, these two minor issues do not affect usability in any way. The NanoSpec is a metrology tool that is able to measure thickness of transparent thin films (photoresists, oxides, etc) on silicon wafers. It uses reflectometry or measurement of reflected light to determine film thicknesses based on interference effects. Using measurement algorithms the Nanospec compares a bare silicon wafer to the sample being tested to yield thickness information without causing damage to the sample. Standard pallets will incur a minimum $30 charge. Additional charges for crating or over-sized palletizing will vary. International customers must arrange their own freight service. Shipping Damages: If item arrives damaged by the carrier, please reject shipment and contact us immediately.
