This is one of only 500 limited edition sets celebrating 95 years of Narex being in the tool manufacturing business. Sets come in a wood presentation box to protect the set. and The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section that woodworkers prefer. As with all edge tool, they'll need sharpening before use. These chisels are an excellent value in a good quality tool. This is a Premium 8 piece set contains the following sizes: 6 mm (1/4"), 8 mm (5/16"), 10 mm (3/8") 12 mm (1/2"), 16 mm (5/8") 20 mm (11/16") , 26 mm (1" 1/16") and 32 mm (1 1/4") mm. They are ground at a 25 degree bevel. Blades are 4 5/8" to 5 1/2" long. Handles are natural European Hornbeam and 5 1/2" long. Overall sizes range in length from 9 7/8" to 11". Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs and steel ferrules with shock washers to withstand vigorous mallet work. In the August 2008 issue of Fine Woodworking Magazine, the Narex chisels earned Author's Choice for "Best Value" in the western style bench chisel category.
