Click HERE to see our full selection of rasps and files This half round coarse rasp is made by a small tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and is of exceptional quality. The blade is made from tool steel and then hardened to RC 45. The blades are stitched with a CNC machine which produces a uniform tooth pattern and height allowing for a steady removal rate and an even finish. This is considered a coarse cut rasp with 12 teeth per square centimeter. The handle is 5 3/4" long, 1 1/2" in diameter and has a brass ferrule. Handle is made hard and dense Hornbeam. Blade is 25 mm (1") wide by 8 mm (5/16") thick and 250 mm (10") long.
