NAREX VHU 1-1/4" FACING & BORING HEAD with R8 SHANK  Made by Narex in Czechoslovakia.  This is an Universal Facing/Boring Head in EXCELLENT condition.  It has only been used a few times.  Model #: VHU 1 1/4" it is comparable to a VHU 36  Features:  · This Facing & Boring Head is a very versatile tool. With this tool it is possible to carry out operations such as facing, boring, turning O.D., recessing and undercutting.  · The Narex Vhu - as a boring device - considerably increases possibilities of boring, drilling and milling machines. These heads are suitable for precision boring of cylindrical holes, and for machining of external cylindrical surfaces.  · The boring head Vhu by means of an automatic slide feed makes possible facing, backfacing and taper machining.  · The slide feed is adjustable in three or four grades and is stopped on adjustable dog by the pin clutch. The feed is derived from the rotary motion of the head, if one of the feed is adjusted, the pin of the clutch is put in and the brake ring is held by means of the stop bar.  · The adjustment screw serves for quick adjusting of side and, on the contrary, the worm with the scale is used for fine adjusting of precision boring. (1 division = slide movement of .0005")  Specifications:  Hole diameter: 5/8  Bore shank diameter: 3/8, 1/2 and 5/8  Operating Accuracy : .0002  Boring and facing range from: 0 up to 9  Max. adjustability of slide: 1.375"  Max. dia. of slide: 2.750  Various automatic slide feeds per revolution: .0016", .0032", .0048"  Graduation of sensitive : .0005"  Quick return per revolution: .030"  Diameter of tool post holes in slide: 5/8"  Height of Head without shank : 3.125"  Comes as shown in pictures.
