Being offered are Three Acoustical Microphone Grids recently surplussed from NASA Glenn Research Center. Grid arrays are a regular lattice of acoustical transducers (microphones or hydrophones) are most often used for measurements on stationary sound fields near to the test object. Acoustical arrays rapidly produce detailed noise maps of kinds of noise sources. DESCRIPTION: Grids are on heavy plate aluminum rolling bases with adjustable leveling. Grids stand approximately 128" tall overall, 1) Rectangular 4 pole box grid overall measures 8' wide and 5' deep at the base. 2) Two pole flat vertical grid measures 3' wide and 2' deep at the base. 3) Three pole dimensional grid measures 68" wide and 24" deep at the base.  The Aluminum Microphone poles are acoustically deadened inside with foam and outside with black rubber tape.  Grids are easily broken down and stored in two wooden crates.  THEY ARE READY TO SHIP TO YOUR LOCATION FOR APPROXIMATELY $500.00 PLEASE EMAIL FOR EXACT SHIPPING COST.
