The box features seven D-SUB male ports and seven COMBICON five-pin removable screw-terminal connectors for connecting devices with NI CAN cables or directly to wiring harnesses. With an onboard power supply, the CAN breakout box can place power on the V+ pin required by some CAN transceivers to function correctly. Additionally, with a switch on the front panel, you can select 120 ?, 60 ?, or no termination on the network. =You can use the breakout box in desktop applications or mounted on a DIN rail for easy installation in test fixtures and cabinets. The CAN breakout box is compatible with high-speed/FD, low-speed, and single-wire CAN networks. With the same pinouts as all NI CAN interfaces, the CAN breakout box is compatible with all NI CAN cables, interfaces, and accessories. Fault Tolerance The Philips TJA1054A fault-tolerant CAN transceiver offers reliable communication in harsh electrical environments. Hardware Timestamping With hardware timestamping, you can log messages with microsecond-accurate timestamps for reconstructing network events.
