Here is some info from National Instruments: The National Instruments MID-7602 integrated stepper motor power drive provides reliable, easy-to-connect 2-axis drive solutions for National Instruments motion controllers. NI MID-760x drives provide stepper motor control from the NI 7334/7344 controllers. All required motion drive and motion I/O signals are conveniently routed through these units, providing all of the features of a universal motion interface (UMI) wiring module with the enhancements of a powered motor driver in a single product. A single shielded cable connects the MID power drives to the motion controller board, providing the pathway for all motor commands as well as motion I/O, control, and feedback signals. 2-axis stepper power drive, 1.4 A per axis CE certified Front panel configuration Host PC bus power monitoring/shutdown Power supply, driver, heat sink and cooling User-selectable microstepping
