This listing is for a used, 2-meter length, National Instruments (NI) SHC68-68-EP cable, in excellent cosmetic condition and guaranteed fully functional. Part # 186838C-01. The cable has squeeze actuated latches on the larger 68 pin connector that would connect to an accessory or terminal device, the other end connects to the DAQCard. This cable is called out by NI for use with laptop lower PCMCIA slot usage with cards such as the DAQCard-6715, DAQCard-6024E and DAQCard-6062E. The NI SHC68-68-EPM is recommended as a replacement for this cable as it has better signal pairing and electrical shielding, however as such, it may alter signal characteristics within existing validated test/measurement configurations that could effect results relative to an established baseline. This cable, in the EP configuration, remains offered by NI in 1m, 2m, and 0.5m lengths. From NI- The SHC68-68-EP is a shielded cable for connecting and latching the NI DAQCard-6715, NI DAQCard-6024E, and NI DAQCard-6062E to 68-pin accessories. Latching screws secure the shielded connector to the DAQCard itself for added stability. This cable is used specifically for bottom PCMCIA slots. The SHC68U-68-EP is required for top PCMCIA slots.
