**Please thoroughly read the 'note' below before purchasing** *International shipping options have also been expanded* ____________________________________ This listing is for a lot of (5) devices Hello, these National Instruments USB 6009 "OEM" 14-Bit DAQ cards were a component of very low-use biomedical devices that are being retired and replaced with a newer generation of devices. If you know about National Instruments, you know these are premium devices with a reputation for high accuracy and bulletproof reliability. These units are being carefully removed from the devices that they have been running, physically cleaned, tested, and placed in anti-static zip bags to keep them protected. Each will have an IDE and USB cable included as shown in the picture. The USB port on each device will likely have the top tab of the port missing (as it is in the picture) as there was a large grounding strap soldered to each one - this doesn't affect usability, just cosmetics. ____________________________________ ** Please note: As these are bespoke OEM devices, they are outside of any National Instruments warranties, service contracts, or even tech support. USB 6009 OEMs have a different on-chip firmware than the external USB 6009s which cannot be changed, updated, or removed (confirmed by NI). These are fully functioning DAQ cards but they are not recognized immediately by Windows PCs or National Instruments software due to the fact that in OEM applications, the cards were not intended to be plugged directly into PCs. (If you have your own way of extracting data from these other than NI MAX, none of this applies to you.) We have developed a workaround procedure to get Windows 7+ and NI MAX (National Instruments Measurement and Automation Explorer) to recognize the devices. I can provide you with that procedure (step-by-step JPGs) by email after the purchase, just let me know. Within NI MAX, a 'self test' of the device will appropriately come back 'failed' as the device is not the standard 6009 USB but all input and output functionality will work as it should. ____________________________________ I take great care to make sure anything I sell online is well described, tested/verified and in excellent working condition. Please check the feedback scores that are starting to come through - we've shipped nearly (200) of these without a single issue so far. If you do not have National Instruments MAX software, you can download it from NI after registering an account with them. Just do a search for "NI System Configuration" which is an installer pack that includes MAX. Every single device will be re-tested and verified before shipping. Orders will be shipped within one business day (often ship out the same day if the orders are received early enough) via USPS Priority service to get your devices to you as soon as possible. P.O. boxes will be shipped non-Priority as per USPS. International shipping is available through eBay's 'Global Shipping' program and I've also added a new direct international shipping option as several people reported issues with the fees that eBay's Global Shipping program was charging. I don't have any control over the fees charged by either option (the direct option says it's calculated by destination) so please send me a message if they don't seem quite right and we'll find a more reasonable solution. These are priced for a quick sale - they are still listed at $299/ea from NI. They are being sold in small lots at first to test the market. I am absolutely open to negotiating bulk purchases and prices once you verify the devices will work for you and your application for them.
