I have a (possibly not-so) gently used lettuce chopper up for bids. I imagine it happens every year.  You might think you have enough salad prepared for your holiday party, but many more vegetarians show up than you had planned.  Instead of wanting seconds, or even firsts, of ham or turkey or whatever protein you have available, they ask for yet another salad.  The time it takes to cut enough for all the starving herbivores with a paring knife is just too long.  I mean, hey, don't you want to be out at the party with them?  This device will save so much time and headache that you can't afford to let it go!! Though it hasn't been tried with this particular machine, I figure it can cut almost anything into smaller pieces.  Do you have multi-colored construction paper?  You can make 1"x2" confetti!  Do you have too many dollar bills?  I imagine it can cut them down too!  Seriously, though - I reckon it can cut cabbage and onions too.  Probably. The backstory on this machine is simple.  My restaurant went from chopping lettuce every day to getting pre-chopped bagged lettuce.  The district manager came around and started complaining about the over-abundance of extra stuff we had hanging about (as district managers often do.  I think it's their way of feeling important.  But I digress).  Before anyone could even think of what to do with it, I asked if I could take it off their hands.  "Sure!  I bet it's worth a couple dollars in scrap money," I was told.  Well, before I do that, I want to give YOU the opportunity to own this.  There are salads to be made, and so very little time. It comes fully functional.  I, myself, have chopped many a head of lettuce with this very device.  You can rest assured that I still have all of my digits intact, but I must warn you that the blades are still very very sharp. It's heavy.  Shipping is going to be terribly expensive.  There's no way around it, unless you live in Ohio.  Speaking of Ohio, I wanted to say that this was manufactured right here in the good ol' US of A in Hicksville, Ohio.  I've never been to that town myself, but I'm sure it's beautiful.  The people of Hicksville would be thrilled to know that this got it's second life right here on eBay!! These retail for over $400 new, I've seen some on here going for over $300.  I will start the bidding at $0.99.  May the odds be forever in your favor, and Happy Bidding!! [Also, it is worth noting: This product has not been tested on animals.  I suggest that it stay that way]
