This sale is for a Laboratory Surplus Hoya or Schott 2.5% to 3.5% ND Doped LHG 8, LG750 or LG780 Neodymium High Power Laser Glass Amplifier Disc. This Disc measures 9" x 4.313" x .8125" and weighs 2.875 pounds. Both sides were highly polished, but have been dulled by exposure to humidity. One edge is chipped as can be seen in the photo. Current asking price for this glass from Hoya's limited remaining inventory is $826.00 per pound! The equivalent glass from Schott (LG-770) costs over $4,500.00 per pound!!! My asking price is substantially lower than any other source I could find. This piece came from the laser project at the NIF facility.
