Brand Name: Neslab Model #: RTE-110 Condition: For parts or not working Condition Scale: 6 out of 10 This item is in fair cosmetic condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. The paint is coming off in a few places along with some rust. Please refer to the pictures provided below as they are a vital part of this listing and show more detail on the condition of the item. Inventory ID: 32025 Testing This item was filled with water and powered on. The pump started up and the water started circulating. We then set the heat to its highest setting of 120C and let it sit for an hour. When checked, the temp of the water was about 98C, however the display showed the temp was at 102C. After we allowed the water to cool to room temp we set the temp to -30C and we heard the compressor cut on. After letting the item run for another hour or so we rechecked the temp and it hadn't cooled at all. The display showed the temperature of the water at 10C however our thermometer showed 20C. We don't believe the cooling function of this water bath works. The safety/low level sensor also worked cutting the item off when the temp was higher than the safety.
