It does not require any other instrument for it to function. Based upon thermodilution techniques the MicroSim COS simulates a total of 32 normal cardiac output curves and square waveforms with two body temperature, two injectate temperature, and four different liter per minute selections. The small hand held instrument is powered by one 9 Volt battery. The MicroSim COS is CE marked and is shipped with a Certificate of Calibration traceable to the NIST. The MicroSim COS is a rugged instrument that performs its measurements quickly, accurately, and with ease.
