This highly capable analyzer is based on the Y400 platform. The Y400 boots up a lot faster than the Y350C platform and has USB and network capabilities. The YBT250 module provides spectrum analyzer and spectrogram functions. The YBA250 module provides the capability of analyzing an antenna system using return loss or VSWR. It also provides a signal generator and when combined with the YBT250 module gain and loss of components can be measured. There is also a distance to fault function. The pictures show some of these functions in action. I have used the analyzer for a couple of years and it has not failed to perform as expected. The unit has two battery compartments but only one battery is included. The battery holds a charge and was used during the tests and still showed a fair amount of use available. The  analyzer has some wear and tear, especially some scratches on the screen. The scratches don't interfere much with the normal use of the instrument. A power adapter is included with the analyzer. The YBT250 has the 88, AR1, CD1, CR1 and IN1 options installed. The bandwidth is from 30MHz to 2500MHz. Frequency accuracy is .5ppm with 1ppm/yr aging. Spans of 10KHz to 2470MHz. Amplitude range of -114 dBm to +30dBm. RF input overload protection from +30dBm to 50W. IN1 is for interference option. It allows AM/FM demodulation, interference identification, spectrogram with variable duration, signal strength, noise floor measurement, RF field strength, and W-CDMA field strength. One of the unique features of  this analyzer is the calibration function. What makes it unique is that once it is performed, it doesn't have to be repeated every time the frequency or span is changed.  I tried to include as many pictures a possible but this instrument can be used for so many purposes, that I  have just scratched the surface of what it can do.
