NEW Aurora Networks SDU RFoG CPE Single Dwelling Unit CP8013U for Optical Node NEW Condition Aurora Networks CP80X3, Optical Node 4000 series SDU RFoG CPE Single Dwelling Unit CP8013U Customer Premises With CommScope SVIP Power Inserter SUB AMP The CP80x3U supports a return RF passband on a 1310 nm optical wavelength, with a 1002 MHz forward passband on a 1550 nm optical wavelength. Aurora's 1310 nm CPEs incorporate thermally stable distributed feedback (DFB) lasers, key to supporting DOCSIS® 3.0 and expanded return bandwidth. DFB lasers provide wider dynamic range along with lower Relative Intensity Noise (RIN) for exceptional NPR performance, allowing increased return combining over a wider range of optical receive levels. Higher RIN Fabry Perot (FP) lasers become the performance limiting factor in shorter distance applications, with higher optical receiver input levels reducing NPR dynamic range. A microcontroller ensures stable laser turn on/off and OMI stability over varying temperature, exceeding the SCTE specifications. In the forward path the CPE provides a +19 dBmV output level with AGC control over a wide optical input range, ensuring stability with improved CNR performance.
