Basic Rotary Broach Tool HolderPart # BT-063-A Made in the USA by Polygon Solutions Inc. Shank size: 5/8" (.625") *Broach size: 8mm shank x 1.25" length This basic tool holder is designed for low volume and prototype broaching projects. The sealed bearing requires no greasing. The holder can be used for making internal hex, square and other polygon shape holes in your lathe, mill or other turning machine and eliminates secondary operations. Ideal materials for broaching are aluminum, brass and mild steel. For more information, see overall dimensions of the GT Series Rotary Broach Holder. Instructions: Drill pilot hole 3% larger diameter than flat-to-flat dimension and depth 1.5x the flat-to-flat dimension. Drill chamfer .005" per side larger than sharp corner dimension.
