This is a brand new unit that does not have its original packaging.  There is no physical damage to the unit.  I filled the unit with water and tested both the Degas and Sonic functions along with the digital timer.  I then siphoned the water out of the pan rather than remove the blue factory cap on the drain.  The drain valve and elbow are still wrapped in the bubble wrap.  The drain hose bag has been opened but the hose hasn't been used.  The packet of paperwork is still sealed.  Great opportunity to get a new ultrasonic cleaner at a discount!
