The Centrifuge Extractor Industrial Survey Item LABGO DD19 is a high-quality, made in India instrument used for determining and checking the percentage of bitumen in bituminous mixtures. This innovative extractor utilizes centrifugal action to remove dissolved bitumen after a mix is added with a solvent. The centrifuge features a removable aluminum rotor bowl with a capacity of 1500 gms and a cap and tightening nut. Enclosed gears in the cast body and handle manually rotate the shaft and bowl quickly. Solvent is introduced through the holes in the cap of the housing during the test. A drain is provided to collect the dissolved bitumen that comes out of the rotating bowl and collects in the housing.
