This is a unique vending machine that was designed specifically to dispense CDs, DVDs and a variety of other packaged goods products. It is capable of holding up to 48 different CD titles and as many as 17 copies of each. Any machine converted to DVD sales, will hold up to 42 different DVD titles and 12 copies of each. This machine is for the sell–through (not rental) product. It has an ATM style monochrome monitor that guides the user through the purchase process. The machine can be programmed to play a 30 second free audio sample of each CD on demand by the user. It was designed to accept cash, credit and debit cards. It requires only AC power, a regular phone line and ten square feet of floor space. It measures 79" tall by 30" deep by 51" wide. And all the activity of the machine including purchases and inventory can be monitored from a remote location via dial up phone line. The model available has the stereo speakers pictured integrated into the cabinet at the marquee level. It is the result of years of development and is the most cost effective way to physically deliver music product to the customer wherever that might be. Its presentation and location drives the impulse buyer to grab and go. The initial price is substantially below the manufacturing cost. The machine is in new condition, but no warranty is implied or given. The machine is very stable with caster wheels and parking feet. The machine is made of steel and aluminum.
