(SOLD SEPARATELY) The Altitude 9840A series of industrial-grade, high-resolution network based video and audio PTZ dome cameras incorporate the latest DSP technology for camera imaging to provide unparalleled video quality. This series of IP-based video and audio dome camera systems are designed to meet the toughest surveillance applications with a full set of programmable camera features including high-speed precision camera presets, patterns, guard tours, privacy sectors or windows as well as a user friendly onscreen programming interface. Available with ceiling or bracket mounts, each is available in an indoor or outdoor housing, making the 9840A series domes suited for the most demanding security and surveillance applications. The 9840A provides a wide range of camera options, ranging from an economical 18x color, to 23x day/night, to 35x day/night with electronic image stabilization which provides a stable or fixed image when there is a potential for camera movement based upon windy conditions or road vibration. This feature ensures that live and recorded video images remain viewable and high quality no matter the environmental or external conditions impacting the camera. All these heads are all interchangeable in the housings for easy field upgrade. In addition to high-resolution video, the 9840A is a complete part of the security system, providing high quality bi-directional audio, serial data port, alarm inputs and relay outputs which can be interfaced to a wide variety of systems or accessories. The Altitude 9840A series provides highly efficient, dual stream, MPEG4, 4CIF (704x480 NTSC, 704x576 PAL) based IP cameras with maximum video resolution at a full frame rate of 30fps NTSC/ 25fps PAL. Using advancements in video compression technology, the 9840A series provides high frame rate and high-resolution video, while maintaining a significantly lower file size and reduced bandwidth utilization compared to other cameras on the market. The 9840A series also utilizes IGMP Snooping (Layer2 multicasting) technology, which enables a single stream to be transmitted to multiple viewers on the network simultaneously with no additional bandwidth on the network. The Altitude 9840s dual streaming technology allows for fully independent viewing and recording streams so the live stream can be set for realtime viewing at 30fps NTSC/25 PAL while simultaneously recording at up to 15fps NTSC/12.5 PAL. When combined with the Latitude Virtual Matrix capability, which permits full switching of any camera to any monitor or tile, sequencing and alarm handling, the DVTel digital solution can be an end to end replacement for the legacy analog system.
