The Apollo Sternal Retractor system is a highly versatile retraction and stabilization system. It is used extensively in "off-pump", beating heart surgical procedures, and all other procedures requiring sternotomy. Sold here as a core unit with standard 30 mm x 100 mm blades, stainless steel blade lock inserts and the retractor body, offers an instrument that will last for years. Veterinary applications are equally expansive, and has been used in small and large animal procedures, both thoracic and abdominal. The durability of the design and flexibility aided by additional accessories available on-line, offers a considerable cost savings over retail.
