Now with a much larger Optical Quality Glass Lens that has been specially treated to resist scratches. Also includes an female insuflation outlet and the ability to easily place our disposable specula on and off the otoscope. This otoscope is built like a little tank and has functionality second to none. The LED uses very little energy to give a very bright light. The battery will last and last. IMPORTANT: This otoscope makes use of a LED module meaning the LED is mounted on a circuit board to allow for voltage regulation. It also contains a protective resistor and a DC-DC boost converter. If you purchase an otoscope with a simple LED bulb connected directly to the battery power source without the circuit board and any type voltage regulation the lifespan is reduced dramatically.
