Measure free or total chlorine with EPA-approved amperometric measurement method Complete integrated system for continuos and programmed monitoring Passcode-protected access to configuration and calibration settings Two 0/4 to 20 mA outputs and three configurable relays for operational flexibility The AccuChlor2 system is designed to be the most accurate and easy-to-use on-line chlorine instrument available. The system consists of a full-featured, menu operated chlorine analyzer and an integrated, pre-wired measurement cell. An integrated peristaltic pump and mixing motor regulate the inexpensive 5% distilled white food-grade vinegar pH buffering solution. In addition to maintaining the pH, the vinegar works in conjunction with PVC balls to scrub the electrode—reducing maintenance requirements. The AccuChlor2 measurement system is based on the amperometric measurement technique. Amperometric sensors operate on the principle that when two dissimilar metals are immersed in a liquid, a potential develops and a current may pass between them. Current will flow until the electrodes become polarized. To regenerate flow of electrons, the cell must come in contact with a depolarizing agent, such as a strong oxidizer. The current generated is proportional to the concentration of the oxidizing agent—in this case chlorine.<p> <b> What’s included:</b> Analyzer, sample inlet hose3, buffer feed tubing, 1-gallon bottle cap with hole for buffer feed tubing, bracket for holding 1-gallon vinegar bottle, sample drain hose, sample overflow hose, and operating manual.
