Hexacon ST-912 Metal Tray & Sponge With Hole This tray and sponge is the replacement for the Hexacon HD-892 Soldering Iron Holder. A properly wetted fine pore, cellulose sponge is the best way to clean soldering residues from a hot tip. With regular use additional abrasive cleaning can become unnecessary. Purpose-made for tip cleaning. Large continuous surface area. Very low sulfur and acid content prevents tip contamination. Fine pore texture suits all tip sizes. Also available with one, two or multiple holes. Deep sponge trays hold at least one day's supply of water. These other products are available.
