Still has that new car smell when you open it up. Shipping – I try to ship out items the day after payment is received but currently I am helping with my elderly parents and there are occasions I am out of town with them so it could take up to 3 days to get items shipped if I happen to be with them when something is purchased. Since both Ebay and Paypal collect fees on the shipping charges, as I try to sell my items for a very low profit margin as it is, I’ve had to start charging an extra 10% for shipping charges and am still often losing the 3% Paypal charges. I do NOT try and make money on shipping charges. After I ship the item, if I have over charged by more than a couple of dollars, I always reimburse the difference. My time is free, packing materials are not. My philosophy here is the same I try to live my life by – I do my absolute best to try and treat everyone the same way that I wish to be treated. For me, making an extra few dollars is not worth lying or deceiving people over. Like most, I can always use a little more but it’s not what makes my world go round, I’d rather have a good night’s sleep. If you have a problem with anything after it arrives, let’s see if I can’t make things right before you contact Ebay or Paypal as they often end up making things much more difficult than it needs to be. If after contacting me you are not satisfied, I want you to contact them then but chances are, I’ll be able to make things right if there’s a problem.
