By the grace of G-d Brand new in the box with full warranty. The Amprobe DCG-1000A clamp ground resistance tester is a ground resistance tester that measures ground resistance, current, and continuity in multi-grounded electrical systems. This true RMS (root mean square) meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear or non-linear loads where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal or nonsinusoidal waveform. The clamp-on head enables the user to measure resistance on a ground rod in a multi-ground system without the use of auxiliary ground rods and without disconnecting the other grounds. The unit does not require any additional electrodes or test leads. The tester measures ground resistance from 0.025 to 1,500 ohms and AC current up to 10A. It is safety rated to European Standard 61010-2-32 Category III 300V and Category II 600V. The four-digit LCD screen indicates values up to 9999. The unit is powered by one 9V batter (installed), which provides power for 3,000 measurements. The DCG-1000A is designed for use by electricians and electrical contractors. Specifications Power supply 9V battery (one, installed) Ground resistance range 0.025 to 1,500 ohms Current range 0 to 10A Weight (including battery) 1.4 lb./ 640g Safety standard met International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)/European Standards (EN) 61010-2-32 Cat III 300V and Cat II 600V Dimensions 10.1 x 3.9 x 1.9 inches /257 x 100 x 47mm (H x W x D) H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. Electrical test meters report electrical circuit properties, such as voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. Available in handheld or benchtop models, they detect electrical problems in equipment, wiring, and power supplies. A variety of probes, clamps, or leads connect the meter to a circuit or device. Single-function meters, such as battery testers and voltage testers, measure one property of a circuit; multimeters measure multiple properties. Electrical test meters display information either in analog form using a needle that moves on a calibrated scale, or in digital form using digits or a graphic representation on an LED screen. Meter choice includes the electrical properties to be measured and the anticipated range of results, and should have a rating that is higher than the maximum value of the anticipated range. An electrical test meter has multiple settings that correspond to potential ranges of values for the properties it can measure. A manual ranging meter requires the operator to flip through different settings until the correct range is reached. An autoranging meter cycles through range settings automatically until it reaches the correct range. Amprobe manufactures electrical testing equipment for commercial, industrial, and home use. The company was founded in 1948 and is headquartered in Everett, WA. From the Manufacturer Amprobe began life in Long Island, NY in the late 1940's under the name Pyramid Instrument Company. In 1960 the company name was formally changed to Amprobe Instrument Corporation. Amprobe continued to design, engineer, manufacture and distribute product from its Lynbrook, NY location until it was merged to form ATP and relocated to South Florida in late 1999. The Amprobe DGC-1000A Clamp-on Gound Resistance Tester is user friendly and accurate. It has the TRMS current measurement including the leakage current. It has accurate readings regardless of power quality in less than 10 seconds. It is simple and easy to use with no test leads or auxiliary electrodes necessary. It also has individual data point recording and is has user selectable high and low ohm audible alarms. Continuity beep if the resistance is lower than 40.00 Ohms Data logging capability - 116 records Large LCD display Low battery indicator Auto power off (can be disabled) Ground resistance tester for measuring ground resistance, current, and continuity in multi-grounded systems True RMS meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear or non-linear loads where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal or nonsinusoidal waveform Clamp-on head to measure resistance on a ground rod without the use of additional ground rods and without disconnecting the grounds under test Measures ground resistance from 0.025 to 1,500 ohms and AC current up to 10A Safety rated to European Standard 61010-2-32 Category III 300V, Category II 600V For information on the 7 Noah laws visit http://asknoah.org/ All warranty claims will be handled by the manufacture!
