This upright vacuum cleaner is better suited for cleaning carpets than typical canister vacuums and takes up less space for storage. Oreck’s ergonomic helping hand handle has the on/off switch located in the handgrip for convenience. An automatic floor adjustment enables the vacuum cleaner to move between carpets and hard surfaces without changes to manual settings. A top-fill system helps prevent clogging at the intake. The brush roll turns at 6,500 revolutions per minute (RPM) and has a helix bristle pattern to move debris toward the vacuum inlet for cleaning. Side brushes help facilitate sweeping along walls. Clear bumpers help prevent damage to walls and doorways. A 35-foot power cord enables the vacuum cleaner to cover a larger area without changing outlets than vacuums with shorter cords.
