This Polycom Vortex EF2241is in the original Polycom box. The Polycom Vortex EF2241 is a core component within Polycom's installed audio product line. It integrates with the Polycom VTX1000, HDX, VSX, VS4000, FX, and ViewStation videoconference equipment products. An EF2241 makes an excellent professional telephone hybrid for talk shows, collaborative medicine, distance learning, and mission-critical executive teleconferencing. It has four microphone or line inputs, four additional line inputs, and eight line outputs. To complete the package it comes with its own 10-watt amplifier and bare-wire speaker connectivity. What sets it appart though are its digital sound processers that provide granular control to eliminate noise, echo, and feedback. Professional any-any matrix mixing and automatic microphone mixing capabilities are managed through the built in display or by PC. The PC User-Interface provides the ability to address audio characteristics of any input or output. The built-in display allows fast access to preset configurations and real-time modifications to live audio. The EF2241 has 24 bit resolution, 32-bit floating point computation, and a 48 kHz sampling rate. Polycom’s industry leading, patented, noise cancellation on all four mic/line inputs minimizes ambient noise. Noise cancellation eliminates ambient noise originating from heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), and LCD projectors by cancelling the noise picked up by each microphone prior to its appearance on the mixing matrix.
