Comfortable, soft sturdy leather upholstery with ample padding, oil and water resistence. Construction seems to be fine, this chair is nice and sturdy. I like the metal base. Setup was easy with the provided kit. The kit even come with a "Allen" wrench needed for assembly. Armrests are very sturdy heavy plastic. Armrest padding is good. This chair is wider than most office chairs. I am over 200 lbs and have plenty of room. It measures 20" in between the armrests. Gas cylinder works smoothly and has a good range up/down. Pull out the gas cylinder arm and the chair will lean back, put the chair upright and push it in locks the chair from leaning back. Padding on the chair is adequate. I do foresee the seat cushion padding breaking down with wear, I think they all do. So a pillow or a recovering at some point might be necessary. I SHIP TO THELOWER 48 STATES ONLY, NO PO BOXES OR APO'S. I CANNOT COMBINE SHIPMENTS.
