A Very Cost Effective Alternative to Shock Absorbing Lanyards which allow a greater fall distance before initiating restrainting action. Greater versatility through DUAL OPERATION... can be attached directly to the safety harness D-ring for use as a personal fall limiter, or used as a traditional retractable lifeline. Less Fall Clearance Required while Providing Greater Mobility and Minimizing Trip Hazards. Quick-activating, acceleration sensing, high-strength stainless steel braking system that arrests free falls almost instantly. Typically initiates braking "reel" lockup in 6 to 12 inches of rapid movement of the safety lanyard, as in a "fall" situation, thus minimizing the "stop" shock-load to the wearer.. Load capacity is 310 lbs. Compact & Light Weight... Only 3.6 lbs. total. Up to 9-feet (2.7 meters) of working distance from the attach point of arrestor's payout lanyard. No annual factory re-certification required. Visual load indicator indicates when the unit must be removed from service after a fall.
