For sale is one new pack of six 25mL Nalgene Polycarbonate Erlenmeyer Flasks with Polypropylene Screw Closures. Mfg # 4108-0025. According to the manufacturer, the Nalgene 4108 series Erlenmeyer flask is designed for shaker and suspension cell culture, is made of sturdy polycarbonate, and has a polypropylene screw closure for culture media preparation and storage. Polycarbonate is easily worked, resists grease, oil, detergent, and most inorganic acids, and has a very high impact resistance at nearly 30 times that of safety glass. The flask and cap can be autoclaved and withstand temperatures up to 135 degrees Celsius (275 degrees Fahrenheit). The polypropylene cap is unlined and non-contaminating for secure storage of samples or culture media. Molded-in graduated markings indicate approximate volume measurements.
