This auction is for one New Fieldpoint interface module from old stock shown in photographs. This unit provides an RS485 interface to other fieldpoint modules. As seen in the photographs, this includes the box, the module, the DIN rail mounts, the termination resistors, some documentation, and the RS485 mating connector. Repair warranty will continue for 5 years afterward until July 1, 2016. The National Instruments FP-1001 is an RS485network interface module for the FieldPoint I/O system. Each NI FP-1001 network module connects a node of up to nine FieldPoint I/O modules to an RS485 network. A FieldPoint network can consist of up to 25 network nodes for a total of 225 FieldPoint I/O modules. The FP-1001 manages communications between the host PC and the I/O modules via a local high-speed bus formed by FieldPoint terminal bases. The FP-1001 also provides several diagnostic and autoconfiguration features, simplifying installation, use, and maintenance. FieldPoint Explorer and server software are included at no charge with RS232/RS485 FieldPoint systems. These software tools simplify system setup and integration with application software packages.
