The Filtair ductless fume hood is ideal for the filtration of toxic gases, fumes, particulates and odors. The unit provides 99.9% filtration efficiency at 1% of the TLV. Specific carbon molecular filters are designed for use with solvents, acids, ammonia, or formaldehyde. A Captair chemical listing filtration guide is supplied with every hood. These hoods require no ducting, are simple to set-up and can be easily moved. Optical quality acrylic slanted front enclosures provide a more comfortable working position while the oblong shaped door openings shaped doors opening provide added fume and spill protection when handling materials. The Filtair hoods are supplied with a built-in face velocity monitor, filter testing port and an interactive alarm system for detecting filter saturation. The clear back panel, standard in the Model 814, is ideal for use in schools as it allows viewing from all sides. Additional options include a 3-liter removable spill tray and exterior mounted fluprescent light. The type M hood is for gases and provides airflow of 94.2cfm and average 107fpm. The type V hood, for gases and fumes (particles), provides airflow of 91.2cfm and average 103.5fpm. Internal dimensions: 29 1/3L x 20 1/4D x 19 3/4H, inches.
