NEW PREMIUM EQUINE DENTAL FLOAT FOR UPPER LAST MOLAR #21UT VETERINARY HORSE This is a new premium equine dental float made for professional use by experienced practitioners. If you are inexperienced consult an equine veterinarian or equine dental professional. This premium flat shaft float is made of high quality non-magnetic stainless steel which is polished to a mirror finish. It's completely free of sharp edges and corners with seamless blade boxes to minimize soft tissue damage. It has an ergonomic polyurethane handle with textured surfaces to provide durability and a good grip even with wet hands. The color-coded handle is for visual identity when the head is obscured, and also has a marker which can be felt with the thumb while in use to identify the rotational angle of the float head. The overall length is 21-1/2", including the handle, which is 6". It has a 10 degree upturned head for the upper M-3 (last molar) and accepts blades 1" wide by 1-1/2" long. Our identification for this float is #21UT. It will accept solid tungsten carbide, carbide chip or grit, or steel rasp blades. Large 3/8" x 3/8" stainless steel hex screws are included with each float (but not shown) as is one hex wrench. Blades are NOT included but are available through online equine dental suppliers and occasionally on eBay.
