PUREX FUME EXTRACTION SYSTEMS This auction is for a new Purex Alpha 400 fume extraction system. System is configured for 120v power input, with pre-filter and main HEPA filter. Also included is a marking and coding connection kit, and 5m power cable. These cost effective units extract LGACs (Laser Generated Airborne Contaminants) from the laser or ink-jet coding process, then filter out hazardous particles and gas using a 3-stage process before returning clean air to the workplace. Pre-Filter Pre-filters are designed to capture larger particles before they can enter the main HEPA filter. Without pre-filters, the life of the main filter would be much shorter. A variety of media and designs are available to allow Purex extractors to be used in a wide range of processes. This unit comes equipped with the Labyrinth F8/F9 Composite pre-filter (PN: 202274). This fine grade, composite fiber matrix delivers excellent particle capacity - up to 20 times more than a standard filter. Main Filter A variety of different combinations of filter media are used in Purex filters depending on the application. Air equalization plates are used between the layers of media to further reinforce the filter housing and to distribute the airflow across the filter to ensure all of the filter media is used. This unit is equipped with a HEPA/Chemical filter (PN:113505) which filters small particles @ 99.997% down to 0.3 microns in size and absorbs a wide variety of gasses and vapors. Coding & Marking Connection Kit These kits contain a variety of flexible hoses, reducers, clips and other fixings to connect a Purex fume extractor to a coding and marking laser or a continuous inkjet (CIJ) printer. With the included 51mm coding kit you can connect your Purex fume extractor to a coding and marking laser process which has a 1 x 51mm extraction port. 3m long - 80mm to 51mm.
